Meet John & Debra Bradley.

John and Debra Bradley are the owner/operators of Spring Valley Farms (SVF). John was born and raised in Savannah, TN. He studied Animal Science and Agriculture in college. He has worked in agriculture for his entire professional career. Debra was born in Maine and traveled extensively throughout most of her early life before moving to the South in 1985. She studied botany, accounting and art in college and has worked in Information Services as a Systems Analyst for over 20 years. They live in their dream home that was build on the Webb farm, one of the many farms they own and manage.

Both John and Debra are graduates of the Tennessee Master Beef Program and ensure their livestock is handled gently and humanely in a stress-free environment under Beef Quality Assurance best management practices.

Over 100 Years of Heritage

Spring Valley Farms is a collection of 7 farms that merge history and modern sophistication in picturesque Hardin and Wayne Counties in Tennessee.

The original Dodd Farm, and recently the Franks Farm are both over 100 years old and have been designated Century Farms. The Tennessee Century Farms Program honors and recognizes the dedication and contributions of families who have owned and farmed the same land for at least 100 years.

Over the years, the family has continued to add land to the operation but it has always been a family business. Today, John and Debra produces cattle, hay, honey and timber.

As John and Debra continue to modernize their operation, they are reminded constantly of the farms’ past. For example, the building that serves as their equipment shed and farm shop is the former Gillis Mills School gym where John played basketball in elementary school.
